April is still a busy month for us but it does generally start to wind down a bit. The weather is usually just perfect – cooler dry days, the leaves turn orange, and the air is crisp and fresh! Love an autumn wedding I do. The first weekend in April saw us with hire furniture heading out to private properties in Bridgetown and Dunsborough, Mornington Springs (for this venue’s first ever wedding), St Aidan’s Wines in the Ferguson Valley plus as Evedon Park and Ferguson Farmstay in the Ferguson Valley as well. We also had lighting out at Melville Park in Brunswick.
We had a ceremony set up and some reception styling to do at Old Broadwater Farm in Busselton too.
On the second weekend in April we had a Thursday wedding with furniture hire to Alverstoke Barn in Brunswick, as well as hire items heading off to a private property in Bunbury and Argyle (Donnybrook), Old Broadwater Farm in Busselton again, and on Sunday at Cullens Winery in Margaret River. We also had our white Tiffany chairs and sage green/gray table linen at St Aidan Wines in the Ferguson Valley.
There were five weekends in April this year! On the middle weekend we had an awesome Friday wedding at Bunkers Beach Cafe with our furniture there, and florals, and set up/styling – the full deal.
Also on the Friday we supplied some furniture for a networking event for Pop Dining in Perth. On the Saturday we had another wedding at Alverstoke Barn in Brunswick as well as a wedding ceremony in a park in Dalyellup and some furniture and styling to do at Old Broadwater Farm in Busselton.
Things were really starting to wind down by the second last weekend of April – we had a very cool backyard wedding in Bunbury with hire furniture, lighting and styling.
Last but not least weekend of April we had a Friday ceremony set up at Old Coast Road Brewery in Myalup. Then I had my stepmother’s 50th in Busselton that of course we did the furniture and tent for. We also had hire equipment going up to Madora Bay in Mandurah as well as St Aidan Wines again.
And to top it all off, a beautiful marquee wedding in Burekup really close to home for me – at a stunning private property. We provided mismatched chairs, rustic wood trestles and other rustic farm decorations for this wedding and got some great feedback from the bride!
