Traditionally a very busy month for weddings, February 2015 for us was no exception! Lots of ceremony and reception set ups as well as furniture hire, at a great range of venues around the southwest area.
First cab off the rank was a corporate function for Dale Alcock Homes at the Lighthouse Beach Resort in Bunbury on the first Thursday in February, where our white Tiffany chairs featured.
We then set up this beautiful rustic beach wedding ceremony for Margaret and Ilpo at Bunbury back beach. This was the first time we used our now very popular driftwood arbour. Chairs and aisle decorations were provided by the client.
On the Saturday we had a number of weddings – the first was Michelle’s DIY backyard wedding in Bunbury – we clothed, set and decorated tables and generally worked our magic at the reception, as well as providing hire furniture for their private property ceremony in Dardanup.
On the same day we had a large wedding to set and decorate at Bunkers Bay Resort. We created the custom hessian and lace strip backdrops for each end of the function room as well as lighting for the ceiling voids, set up of decorations and the ceremony on the grounds of the resort as well. A lovely end to a very busy weekend!
Next weekend was Valentines Day and we had Chloe and Bevan’s wedding to set up at Flutes in Margaret River. This was a huge wedding – 160 guests. We provided our white Tiffany chairs, and all the decorations including the ceiling bunting were created by the bride, and set up by us on the day. It was a mammoth job but I think you’ll agree it looks absolutely stunning.
We also had our bar set up at Laurance Wines just down the road, with a gorgeous drinks station set up.
Our new rustic wooden trestles also made their debut at the Lighthouse Beach Resort wedding expo.
The following weekend was fairly quiet with a ceremony and reception set up overlooking the lake at Windows Estate in Margaret River.
Finally for the long weekend/last weekend in February we had a big one! Kelly and Jarrod’s stunning outdoor wedding reception at Karriview Lodge in Margaret River. Our white Tiffany chairs with florals by Scentiment Flowers and decorations (including the fabric draping in the trees) all DIY by the client, and set up on the day by us. Stunning don’t you think!
Last but not least – my beautiful cousin Katlin married the love of her life, Larry, on a family property in Waroona. My own love John (pictured!) was great on the day helping set up – we created a cocktail wedding space for around 100 people, man it was a good night! So nice to be able to relax and wind down after a busy month.
